10 things about myself....here I go!

I've been tagged by Brittany to tell you 10 honest things about myself..

1. I really love to sleep in the car. I have gotten some of the best rest of my life in the car. Growing up both sets of my grandparents lived 1 1/2- 2 hours away, so when we visited which was frequently, I fell asleep in the car on the way there and of course back because it was usually night time. Now, there is nothing I like better than sleeping while Josh drives. Samford and I snooze away! ZZZZZ

2. I am BFF with my three of my girl cousins: Jessica, Jennifer, and Natalie. We grew up together all the time and they were like my best friends in the whole world. I would cry like a baby every time I had to leave them or they had to leave me. They were and still are like my sisters. Now, since we are all grown up, we don't get to see each other as often or keep as in touch as we once did, but they are true blessings in my life. We have so many memories and funny inside stories that we love to laugh about and re-live.

3. When in public and I hear someone say the word Auburn, my ears perk up and a smile appears on my face. To this day, the AU BCM is one of favorite places in the world. To me Auburn is magical. I want my kids to go to Auburn and meet their future spouses there like Josh and I did.

4. Some people don't like their spouses families, but I truly love mine. I feel very comfortable and at home around them. I love girl time with Mrs. Linda and the best sister (in-law) in the world Trina.

5. I love to do children's ministry. I also love to work with youth girls.

6. I have a passion for homeless ministry because of doing this sort of ministry in college for Urban Plunge which was a 48 hour mission trip. I always went to Jackson, MS. I also did homeless ministry with friends in downtown Mobile. I love those memories and would like to do homeless ministry again. Anyone want to help?

7. I think about my future children endless times each day. I can't wait!

8. Although my job is hard, I really love seeing my students make progress. I love helping parents see how to help their child, teach their child and push their child to success. I feel God has given me a heart for parents and children with special needs since my family experienced these things with my brother.

9. I love Ann Taylor's Loft and Dollar General!

10. I love to sleep in on Saturday mornings. This morning I slept until 11:35 A.M. and it felt great!
