Another Thing about Samford the Magnificent!

Last week I taught Samford to climb the steps at our neighborhood park and slide down the slide! Now, he loves it and when we take walks and walk by the park, Samford pulls us toward the slide. He wants to go up and slide down like it's natural. Come over and visit us and we'll show you our "show dog". Are we proud parents are what?

Also, tonight I had made homemade chicken salad for Jake, Ashley, and Ayden to celebrate the birth of their precious Cooper, who is by the way, just gorgeous! He is such a beautiful little boy that I had a hard time not taking him with me. Congrats, Ashley and Jake! I was going to take some candy corn to Ayden as a little treat. I began to shake the container as I poured them into a Ziploc baggie. Samford, my oh so smart hound, who by the way has come to love candy corn and think that he deserves one whenever the container is opened, ran and got inside his crate, thinking that I was about to give him a piece. The funny part is that at night, each night before bed we give Sam a treat in his cage and that's kind of like our "ok, it's time for bed, go to bed, good night" time. So to get his end (the candy corn), he reasoned that he should go to his crate and he would be a good boy and get a piece of candy corn. I thought this was hilarious. He is so funny like a little person with lots of personality! By the way, this is not Samford... but all I had was video of his performance and no pics... I will have to work on that.
